The Medway Arts and Homelessness Forum has been working with Arts & Homelessness International and the Medway Archives to support people with experience of homelessness contribute contemporary stories. The project is also exploring how homelessness and hardship have appeared in different forms throughout Medway’s history and how communities have responded.

The Medway Heritage Place programme is a ten-year partnership with The National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of their Heritage Place initiative, where up to 20 places across the UK will benefit from £200 million of investment. The initiative responds to local need and opportunity, supporting places to use heritage to build pride in place, inspire local communities, and power regeneration. The Medway Heritage Place programme is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we are able to bring Medway’s stories to life in new ways for new audiences.
