HMS Hawke was an Edgar-class protected cruiser. She was notably involved in a collision with the White Star liner RMS Olympic in 1911. In the early days of World War I, Hawke was engaged in operations in the North Sea as part of the 10th Cruiser Squadron attached to the 3rd Fleet. She was predominantly used for training purposes. On 15 October 1914, Hawke was sunk in North Sea by German submarine U-913.
